Train door won't open...

Most trains in Japan have automatic doors, but occasionally there are trains with manual doors. This may be common in winter in snowy areas, for example, and they close the doors as soon as you get on so that the heating system can work. I have had a few times on the Sagami Line, which runs between Kanagawa and Tokyo, where the doors would not open and I was in a hurry. When I have not ridden the line for a long time, I forget to press the button on the side of the door and get impatient. If it is your first time, you may enjoy it because it is something you cannot do everyday.
